The "Required" toggle of the "Gift and Hospitality Policy" CDC field has been turned off to enable users who do not have a product from the "Customer Appreciation" category in the Cart to proceed with their Checkout process.

The following changes have been implemented on the Custom Data Collection (CDC) section of the Checkout page if the user has a product from the "Customer Appreciation" category in the Cart as of January 24, 2024:

The "Continue" button has been updated to remain disabled until all "Gift and Hospitality Policy" CDC dropdown fields have a value other than "Please Select".
The "Gift and Hospitality Policy" subheader has been updated to be a link that takes the user to https://zoom.service-now.com/esc?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0015018. Its design has also been updated to resemble a link.

- The Cart page has been updated to allow users from the "Administrators" group to Proceed to Checkout despite having products from the "Customer Appreciation" category in the cart that exceeds $201. (February 16, 2024)
- The Cart page has been updated to allow products from the "Partner Marketing" category to be on the same cart as products from the "Partner Marketing Store" category. Please note that the rule that disallows products from the "Partner Marketing" category to be on the same cart as products from other categories other than the "Partner Marketing Store" category still applies. (#8477 - April 12, 2024)
- The Cart page has been updated to prevent users from checkout out more than 1 product in the cart if the user is in one of the Microstores listed above. If this happens, the "Checkout" button will be hidden, and a notification popup that reads "Please note that only (1) item is allowed per user for this Microstore!" will appear. The Cart page has been updated to prevent users from checking out if products from the "Events Team" category are on the same cart as products not from that category. The "Events" custom payment method on the Billing Method section of the Checkout page has been updated to be the only available payment method if a product from the "Events Team" category is in the cart.

All Shipping Address fields that are textboxes have been updated to only allow alphanumeric values.
The "Email" field has been updated to only allow alphanumeric values and the "@" and "." characters.

Cut-pasting and copy-pasting have been disabled.
The auto-complete functionality has been disabled.

The following changes have been implemented on the Shipping Address section of the Checkout page as of February 4, 2025 (#9548):

Copy-pasting has been restored.
The listed special characters have been added to the list of allowed characters.
All fields have been updated to have their entire values deleted if the system detects a forbidden character.

- The Shipping Address section of the Checkout page has been updated to check all textboxes for unallowed characters when a Shared Address is selected and deletes all content of that field if the system selects an unallowed character. (#9548 - February 13, 2025)

The "BrightHire" payment method on the Billing Method section of the Checkout page has been updated to appear only if a product from the "BrightHire" category is in the cart.

The following changes have been implemented on the Cart page as of April 2, 2026 (#769904):

The page has been updated to not allow products from the "PM Japan - Iwashita" category to be on the same cart with non-Iwashita products. The page has been updated to not allow products from the "PM EMEA - Aandestegge" category to be on the same cart with non-Aandestegge products. The page has been updated to not allow products from the "PM EMEA - Bensien" category to be on the same cart with non-Bensien products. The page has been updated to not allow products from the "PM LATAM - Badra" category to be on the same cart with non-Badra products. We have reviewed the provided requirements and found that some of the described rules had not yet been implemented, either because they had not been previously requested or due to template changes made over the past few months.

That said, the following changes have now been applied to the store: [#11027] (May 26, 2026)

The Billing Address step has been set to automatically hide if a product in the cart belongs to the "Customer Appreciation" category.
The Billing Method section has been updated to display the "Partner Marketing" custom payment method only when a product from one of the following categories is present in the cart:
1. PM Japan - Iwashita
2. PM EMEA - Aandestegge
3. PM EMEA - Bensien
4. NA Channel Marketing
5. Channel Marketing - Managers
6. Additionally, there appears to be an existing rule that requires "Business Order" to be selected as the "Order Type" CDC for the Partner Marketing billing method to become available. Previously, custom coding handled this automatically when a cart item belonged to the "Partner Marketing" category. Since marketing products now belong to the categories listed above and have been moved under the new parent category "MARKETING", the custom code has been updated to automatically select the "Business Order" Order Type CDC whenever an item in the cart belongs to the "MARKETING" category. With this change, the visibility of the "Partner Marketing" billing method will now function automatically.
The Shipping Method section has been updated to hide the In Hands Date field whenever the cart contains products outside of the "Field Marketing", "Events - Aly/Katrina", or "MARKETING" categories (including their subcategories).

The following updates have been applied to the store: [#11027] (June 15, 2026)

The email address validation in the Shipping Address section of the checkout page has been enhanced to improve accuracy and prevent invalid entries. As part of this update, the underscore character (_) has been added as an allowed character in email addresses.
- The validation now ensures that:
  1. Only letters, numbers, ., and _ are allowed
  2. Exactly one @ symbol is present
  3. There is at least one character before and after the @ symbol
  4. The domain contains at least one period (.)
  5. Spaces and other special characters are not allowed
  6. Consecutive dots (..) are not allowed
  7. The email does not start or end with a dot (.) in the local part or domain
  8. The domain must end with a valid top-level domain (minimum 2 characters)
- In addition, a secondary validation check has been implemented when the user clicks the Continue button during checkout.
- This enhancement helps prevent invalid email addresses from being submitted, including scenarios where users paste values containing unsupported characters.
The same email validation have also been applied to the E-Mail field on the Gift Certificate product page.

The provided verbiage has been added to the Shipping Method section of the checkout pages. [#802533] (June 26, 2026)
